One of the fundamental values of VINCI Energies (formerly GTIE) is to be close to the customer, which can be seen from our strong local presence.
Some of the VINCI group's companies such as Masselin, Garzinski Traploir, Santerne and Interact Systems, specialized in data networks infrastructure, expressed the idea of coming together under a single brand in 1999.
The plan was to strengthen their skills, share experiences and be a solid force to better negotiate with suppliers and capture important national contracts. AXIANS was 10 regional offices strong when it was constituted.
During summer 2000, VINCI Energies considered bringing together companies specializing in Voice technologies with two major ideas in mind: the first was to make the “convergent teams” concept a reality; the other was very strong confidence of a fundamental opportunity to become a leading player in the French convergence market. AXIANS was then a group of 23 business units.
Two years later, the AXIANS brand was created with the support of a dedicated marketing team and a Steering Committee to define the corporate and alliance strategies for AXIANS, with all field responsibilities being entrusted to local teams.
Our teams are in direct and constant contact with our customers throughout the project life cycle, from design phase, to implementation, to delivery of the project. The same teams provide management and maintenance services.
IP networks projects are increasingly video or audio-visual oriented. VINCI Energies naturally brought this line of business under the AXIANS brand in 2001.
These experts soon collaborated with other AXIANS business units to successfully carry out prestigious projects for The International Space University in Strasbourg, The École Nationale Supérieure of Lyon, and lately the "paperless" conference room for the City of Amiens Town Council.
By buying out well-established and specialty companies, AXIANS continuously expands its footprint at local level and strengthens its business expertise.
Involved in the field of network security since 1999, AXIANS took over Neurocom in 2002, and became the French leader in the network security market with more than one hundred experts.
