Delivering deep, real-time visibility across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments, this fully managed, vendor-agnostic, single pane of glass observability solution helps organisations proactively manage performance, security and continuity challenges.

Enhancing operations with real-time, end-to-end                                         system visualisation

Theia – the Observability as a Service (OaaS) platform goes beyond just collecting data, it transforms raw information into actionable insights. These insights provide the foundation for informed decision-making, helping organisations anticipate issues before they escalate. Whether it’s identifying network inefficiencies, monitoring power consumption across multiple data centres, or improving security, Theia’s observability helps organisations become more proactive and efficient.

Untangling complexity from multi-vendor estates

One of the biggest barriers organisations face when adopting observability platforms is the availability of skilled resources. Many IT teams have a shortfall in expertise needed to manage multiple vendors and data sources. This is where Axians UK stands out – we take the complexity out of the process with a one-pane-of-glass experience – near real-time metrics from multiple data sources, combined in a single, intuitive interface.

Each deployment is bespoke, aligning with customer-specific KPIs and use cases. By integrating best-in-class commercial and open-source tools, we provide scalable observability solutions that adapt as customer environments evolve.

Driving real-world action

Theia is delivering measurable results for enterprise clients. The technical dashboards have uncovered network and application inefficiencies, improved end-user experiences, and even influenced vendor development cycles.

In one deployment, a Wi-Fi issue impacting more than 1,000 users was identified and clearly visualised – prompting the vendor to acknowledge and fix a flaw in their software.

Supporting ESG initiatives by turning data into action

Theia provides visibility of energy use, infrastructure efficiency and emissions across operations and supply chains. Tracking Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, Theia helps organisations quantify their environmental impact and drive meaningful reductions. Built-in reporting features align with ESG frameworks, making it easier to demonstrate sustainability progress and meet                                     compliance requirements.

GDPR compliance

Only aggregated statistical data is stored, helping customers meet stringent compliance requirements like GDPR while maintaining full operational insight. Observability specialists continuously align with emerging security and compliance standards to ensure data integrity, privacy and trust.

One observability platform, flexible tailoring

Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, we custom-build Theia to match each customer’s requirements. Our deep technical expertise allows us to integrate multiple data sources and provide bespoke dashboards that display only the most relevant insights, avoiding the common pitfall of data overload.

As standard we provide three dashboard options, customised to your network infrastructure:

Level 1 – for SD-WAN or SD-WLAN

A basic service and network overview for managers and includes:

  • One persona
  • Standard service metrics: INC, REQ, KPI
  • Standard orchestrator metrics: overall infrastructure status, critical sites status

Supported systems includes Service Now, HPE Aruba/Silver Peak, Cisco Meraki, Juniper MIST, Fortinet and Versa Networks.

Level 2 – for SD-WAN and/or SD-WLAN

A detailed service and network overview for executives, managers and technical staff,                           and includes:

  • Two personas
  • Advanced service metrics: L1 + CHG + PRB and higher details
  • Advanced orchestrator metrics: additional data retrieved from the orchestrator/monitoring

Supported systems includes Service Now, HPE Aruba/Silver Peak, Cisco Meraki, Juniper MIST, Fortinet and Versa Networks.

Level 3 – The ESG package

Environment data with sensors connected to a MIST system, and includes:

  • Metrics on local environment data (e.g. temperature)
  • Metrics on power consumption, especially if it is on a Data Centre (via PDU)
  • Metrics on carbon emissions over the data received

Supported systems includes Juniper MIST, BLE sensors connected to MIST and Smart PDUs.

Bespoke option

We can also tailor Theia to cover specific aspects of your infrastructure, more in-depth analytics, or a business process mapped on a dashboard.

As long as the data is in digital format, we can integrate it, and technologies can include Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Zoom, Checkmk etc.
